Privacy Policy
Bitcoiners care about privacy, so here is the plain-English version of what this site collects and what happens to it.
Last updated: September 8, 2026
No tracking, no ads
No analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no third-party tracking cookies.
Only what you hand over
An email for alerts, or your booking details for a call. Nothing collected quietly in the background.
Never sold or shared
Your details are never sold, rented, or handed to anyone outside the providers that run this site.
Deleted on request
One-click unsubscribe on every alert email, and an email away from full deletion.
What I collect, and why
I only collect information you type into a form on this site. There are two of them:
Whale Alerts
When you subscribe on the Whale Alerts page I store your email address, the dollar threshold you picked, and the date you subscribed. That is the whole record, and it exists so I can send you the alerts you asked for.
Booking a call
When you book a call on the Book A Call page I store your name, email address, phone number, and the date and time slot you chose, along with whether the booking has been paid. I need your phone number because the call is a phone call, and your email so I can send confirmations.
Like any website, the hosting platform also records standard server request data (including IP addresses) in its logs for security and reliability. I do not use that data to build any profile of you.
What I don’t collect
There are no analytics tools, advertising networks, session recorders, or third-party tracking cookies on this site. I do not know who you are when you browse it.
The Whole Coin tool is worth calling out specifically: the amount of Bitcoin you enter is calculated and drawn in your own browser. It is never sent to me or to anyone else, and it is never stored.
I never see your card details. Payments are handled entirely on Stripe’s own checkout pages, and Stripe only tells me whether a booking was paid.
Payments
Call payments are processed by Stripe. When you continue to payment you are handed off to Stripe, who collect and process your payment information under their own privacy policy. All I receive back is a confirmation that the payment for your booking succeeded, plus a reference so I can match it to the right slot.
Who processes this data
I keep the provider list as short as I reasonably can. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Netlify — hosting, the database that holds bookings, and the storage that holds alert subscriptions.
- Stripe — payment processing for calls.
- Resend — delivery of the confirmation and alert emails I send you.
- CoinGecko — the price data shown on the prices page.
- YouTube — the embedded video on the education page, loaded in privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode.
I do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and I do not share it with anyone beyond the providers above.
The emails I send
If you subscribe to Whale Alerts you get a welcome email and then alerts when a transaction crosses your threshold. If you book a call you get a booking confirmation and a payment confirmation. That is it — no newsletters, no marketing blasts, no partner offers.
How long it’s kept
Alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, at which point the record is deleted outright rather than flagged as inactive. Booking records are kept as long as I need them for scheduling and payment records, and are deleted on request.
Your choices
Every alert email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that removes your record immediately. You can also unsubscribe here.
For anything else — a copy of what I hold about you, a correction, or full deletion including booking records — email bookings@anhonestnode.com and I will take care of it. You can also just reply to any email you have received from me.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information here, email me and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes I will update the date at the top of this page. Since I do not send marketing email, this page is the place to check.
